Please take time to visit the 'leave no trace' website and take on board there philosophy on keeping the woodlands and countryside tidy and as you found it.

If you find litter on your journey and you are able to dispose of it, or take it with you, then do so and set the standard so others may follow in your footsteps. If you see someone leaving litter or discarding it carelessly, stop them and let them know, but in a nice way, so they take heed and listen, however be prepared for some abuse, some people you cant reach. Leave no trace includes dismantling your shelters and covering up your fires afterwards.
