MAKE YOUR OWN HAMMOCK

Everything you need to know about making hammocks for camping, can be found in the following links, you can compare ideas with other builders and even come up with some theories of your own to create the best hanging hammock. There are a few hammock making companies should you choose to buy some gear, or want to compare notes. Make sure to check out all of shug's videos on youtube, hes crazy but knows his stuff.

MAKE YOUR OWN TINDER BOX

You should store your kit in a tobacco tin or similar waterproof container, wrap the tin's lid edge with insulating tape to waterproof it until you are ready to use it, inside you should have lighter / gas variety (emergency) stormproof matches (emergency) Steel for striking and a flint or Magnesium striler and steel, Cotton wool, Charcloth, Chaga Fungus or Amadou fungus, fatwood, vaseline, cotton cordage soaked in potassium nitrate solution and dried, The rest of the material you shoud find on your way and store it in your jscket to keep dry or to dry out.
